Description

Crispy, warm Oreos coated in a light pancake batter and air-fried to perfection — a healthier twist on a fairground favorite that’s ready in minutes.

Ingredients

For the Oreos

  • 1 package Oreo cookies

  • 1 cup pancake mix

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

  • Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer

For Toppings (Optional)

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

  • Chocolate sauce or caramel sauce for drizzling

  • Whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix pancake mix, milk, vanilla, and sugar (if using) until smooth. Batter should be thick enough to coat the Oreos.

  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.

  • Dip each Oreo into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.

  • Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place coated Oreos in a single layer with space between each.

  • Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.

  • Remove from air fryer carefully. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with your preferred toppings. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure even cooking. Cook in batches if needed.

  • Try different Oreo flavors or add a splash of peppermint extract for variety.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days; reheat briefly in the air fryer to crisp.
