Description

Discover the magic of Air Fryer Yorkshire Pudding – fluffy on the inside, golden and crispy on the outside. A quick, modern twist on a British classic, perfect as a side dish for roast dinners, hearty stews, or even a unique breakfast treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or beef drippings

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Set to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

  2. Make Batter: Whisk eggs, milk, and salt. Slowly add flour and whisk until smooth. Let rest for 10 minutes.

  3. Prepare Tray: Add 1 tsp oil or beef drippings into each muffin mold or tray compartment. Preheat in air fryer for 3–5 minutes until hot.

  4. Fill Molds: Carefully remove tray, pour batter halfway into each mold.

  5. Cook: Air fry for 12–15 minutes until puddings puff up and turn golden brown.

  6. Serve: Enjoy immediately with roast beef, stews, or as a snack.

Notes

  • Batter resting time improves rise and texture.

  • Always use hot oil before adding batter.

  • Do not open the air fryer during cooking.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days; reheat in the air fryer.
