Description

Indulge in the ultimate chocolate and caramel delight with these Air Fryer Twix Cupcakes! Moist chocolate cupcakes are topped with chopped Twix bars, rich caramel, and a drizzle of chocolate ganache, creating a quick and easy dessert that satisfies your sweet tooth without deep frying. Perfect for parties, cozy evenings, or a decadent snack, these cupcakes bring a candy bar twist to classic baking.

Ingredients

For the cupcakes:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 large egg

For the topping:

  • 6 mini Twix bars, chopped

  • Caramel sauce

  • Chocolate ganache or melted chocolate

Instructions

  • Prepare batter – In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk, oil, vanilla, and egg. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.

  • Fill cupcake liners – Line air fryer-safe silicone cups with liners, filling each about 2/3 full with batter.

  • Air fry – Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Cook cupcakes for 15–18 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.

  • Cool – Let cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack.

  • Add toppings – Drizzle with caramel sauce, sprinkle chopped Twix, and top with chocolate ganache or melted chocolate.

Notes

  • Ensure the air fryer basket is not overcrowded; cook in batches if necessary.

  • For extra fluff, separate the egg and whip the egg white before folding it into the batter.

  • You can swap Twix bars for other caramel chocolate bars like Milky Way or Snickers.

  • Store leftover cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
