Ingredients

For the Cookie Dough:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or butterscotch chips


Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).

  • Add Vanilla and Eggs: Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, until well incorporated.

  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.

  • Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in chocolate chips and any optional add-ins.

  • Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat to 320°F (160°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  • Shape Cookies: Drop cookie dough balls (1–2 tbsp each) onto parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.

  • Air Fry Cookies: Place the dough in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding. Cook 8–10 minutes until edges are golden brown.

 

  • Cool: Let cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.


Notes

  • Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing.
