Description

These Air Fryer Red Velvet Brownies are rich, fudgy, and visually stunning, ready in just 30 minutes! With a deep cocoa flavor, vibrant red color, and optional cream cheese swirl, they make the perfect quick dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

For the Brownies

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring

  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

For the Cream Cheese Swirl (optional)

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat Air Fryer: Set to 320°F (160°C) and let it heat for 5 minutes.

  • Mix Wet Ingredients: Whisk butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla until smooth.

  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.

  • Mix Together: Stir dry mixture into wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

  • Add Color: Stir in red food coloring and fold in chocolate chips (if using).

  • Prepare Swirl (Optional): Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

  • Assemble Batter: Grease an air fryer-safe pan. Spread half the brownie batter, drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture, top with remaining batter, and swirl with a knife.

  • Air Fry: Place pan in air fryer basket. Cook 15–18 minutes. Test with a toothpick — it should have moist crumbs, not wet batter.

  • Cool & Serve: Let brownies cool 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix batter for maximum fudginess

  • Check brownies 2 minutes early, as air fryers vary

  • Store in airtight container at room temp for 3 days or fridge for 1 week

  • Freeze individually for up to 3 months
