Ingredients
For the Brownies
-
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
-
1 cup granulated sugar
-
2 large eggs
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 cup all-purpose flour
-
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
-
1 teaspoon baking powder
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
1 tablespoon red food coloring
-
½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
For the Cream Cheese Swirl (optional)
-
4 oz cream cheese, softened
-
¼ cup powdered sugar
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Preheat Air Fryer: Set to 320°F (160°C) and let it heat for 5 minutes.
-
Mix Wet Ingredients: Whisk butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla until smooth.
-
Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
-
Mix Together: Stir dry mixture into wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
-
Add Color: Stir in red food coloring and fold in chocolate chips (if using).
-
Prepare Swirl (Optional): Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
-
Assemble Batter: Grease an air fryer-safe pan. Spread half the brownie batter, drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture, top with remaining batter, and swirl with a knife.
-
Air Fry: Place pan in air fryer basket. Cook 15–18 minutes. Test with a toothpick — it should have moist crumbs, not wet batter.
-
Cool & Serve: Let brownies cool 10 minutes before slicing.
