-
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs
-
3/4 cup milk
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Filling:
-
1/2 cup chocolate chips or jam of your choice
Optional:

Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
-
Prepare the Dough:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients until a soft dough forms. -
Shape the Donuts:
Lightly flour your surface and roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Use a bunny-shaped cookie cutter to cut out donuts. Place on a parchment-lined tray. -
Add the Filling:
Using a piping bag or spoon, place chocolate chips or jam in the center of each donut. Leave edges free to seal. -
Seal the Donuts:
Place another cut-out donut on top of the filled one. Pinch edges tightly to prevent leaks. -
Preheat Air Fryer:
Preheat to 320°F (160°C) for 5 minutes. -
Air Fry the Donuts:
Lightly spray the air fryer basket. Place donuts without touching each other. Cook 6–8 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with remaining donuts.
-
Dust and Serve:
Let donuts cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.
Notes
-
Don’t overmix dough to keep donuts light and fluffy.
-
Seal edges well to prevent filling from leaking.
-
Check doneness a minute early as air fryer times may vary.
-
Cool on a wire rack before dusting with powdered sugar.
