Description

Crispy, golden Air Fryer Churro Bites coated in cinnamon sugar—an easy, healthier twist on the classic fair treat you’ll love at home.

Ingredients

For the Churro Bites:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough – In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, butter, and salt over medium heat. Stir until boiling, then remove from heat.

  • Add Dry Ingredients – Stir in flour and baking powder until a dough forms. Let cool slightly.

  • Mix in Vanilla – Once cool enough, add vanilla extract and mix well.

  • Shape the Bites – Use a piping bag or spoon to portion small marble-sized pieces.

  • Preheat the Air Fryer – Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.

  • Air Fry – Lightly grease the basket. Place churro bites in a single layer and cook for 8–10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

  • Coat – Toss warm churro bites immediately in cinnamon sugar mixture.

  • Serve & Enjoy – Best served warm with chocolate or caramel dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—work in batches for best results.

  • Lightly spray with oil before air frying for extra crunch.

  • If dough is sticky, dust your hands with flour before shaping.

  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes.
