Ingredients
For the Chocolate Base
-
2 cups high-quality chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white)
-
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for extra shine)
Flavor Twists & Toppings
-
1/2 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
-
1/2 cup dried fruits (cranberries, apricots, raisins)
-
1 teaspoon sea salt (for finishing)
-
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or chili powder (optional, for a flavor kick)
Instructions
-
Prep Air Fryer & Pan – Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C). Line a small baking pan or tray with parchment paper.
-
Melt Chocolate – In a microwave-safe bowl, heat chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
-
Mix In Add-Ins – Fold in most of the nuts, dried fruits, and optional spices, saving some toppings for garnish.
-
Spread & Top – Pour chocolate mixture onto the lined pan and spread evenly (about 1/4 inch thick). Sprinkle with reserved toppings and sea salt.
-
Air Fry – Place pan in the air fryer and cook for 5–7 minutes. Watch closely to avoid burning—the chocolate should be glossy, not scorched.
-
Cool & Break – Let bark cool completely at room temperature. Once set, break into pieces or cut into squares.
Notes
-
Use quality chocolate for the best flavor and texture.
-
Keep toppings balanced—too many can prevent bark from setting properly.
-
Store in an airtight container at room temp for 2 weeks or in the fridge for longer freshness.
