Description
Crispy, sweet, and easy to make! These Air Fryer Cherry Pie Taquitos combine juicy cherry filling with a golden, cinnamon-sugar coated tortilla shell. Ready in under 15 minutes, they’re perfect for a fun dessert or quick treat.
Ingredients
-
6 small flour tortillas (6-inch)
-
1 cup cherry pie filling (store-bought or homemade)
-
3 tbsp melted butter
-
1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
1 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions
-
Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of cherry pie filling into the center of each tortilla.
-
Roll each tortilla tightly; secure seam with a toothpick if needed.
-
Brush the outside of each rolled tortilla with melted butter.
-
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl; roll each taquito in the mixture to coat.
-
Place taquitos in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
-
Let cool for 2–3 minutes before serving. Enjoy as-is or with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
-
Don’t skip the butter — it helps the cinnamon-sugar stick and creates a crisp shell.
-
Keep space between taquitos for even cooking.
-
Serve fresh for best results.
-
Try topping with chocolate or caramel sauce for extra indulgence.
-
Other pie fillings (apple, blueberry, peach) work well too.
