Description

These Air Fryer Banana Donut Holes are soft, golden, and naturally sweet. Quick to make and healthier than traditional fried donuts, they’re perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert. Dust with sugar, cinnamon, or drizzle with chocolate for extra indulgence!

Ingredients

For the Donut Holes

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar or coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Optional Toppings

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

  • Cinnamon sugar (1/4 cup sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon)

  • Chocolate or caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Set to 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.

  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: Combine mashed bananas, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl.

  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.

  4. Combine Mixtures: Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined (a few lumps are fine).

  5. Form Donut Holes: Scoop batter into tablespoon-sized balls.

  6. Air Fry: Lightly spray basket with cooking spray. Place donut holes in basket, leaving space between each. Cook 8–10 minutes, shaking basket halfway through.

  7. Cool and Serve: Let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar, or drizzle with chocolate/caramel sauce.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas: Sweetest flavor and natural sweetness.

  • Don’t overmix: Keeps texture light and fluffy.

  • Storage: Airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer.

  • Flavor variations: Add chocolate chips, nuts, or a pinch of nutmeg.
