Ingredients
For the Baklava

1 package phyllo dough (16 oz), thawed

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cups mixed nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds), finely chopped

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For the Syrup

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1/2 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Prepare Nut Mixture: Combine chopped nuts and ground cinnamon in a bowl.

Layer Phyllo Dough: Place one phyllo sheet in air fryer basket, brush with melted butter. Repeat for 5 sheets.

Add Filling: Spread a thin layer of nut mixture over the phyllo layers.

Continue Layering: Add 3 phyllo sheets brushed with butter, then another layer of nuts. Repeat until all nuts are used, finishing with 5+ sheets on top.

Cut Baklava: Carefully cut into diamond or square shapes.

Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Cook baklava 15–20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Make Syrup: In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, honey, and vanilla. Bring to a boil, then simmer 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
