Description

This quick and easy Air Fryer Apple Pie is a healthier, guilt-free twist on the classic dessert. With tender spiced apples wrapped in a golden, flaky crust, it’s ready in under 30 minutes—perfect for cozy nights or special gatherings!

Ingredients

For the Apple Filling

  • 34 medium apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or your favorite)

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

For the Crust

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted (to brush on top)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Apples – Peel, core, and slice apples. Mix with sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Let sit for 10 minutes.

  • Prepare the Crust – Roll out pie crust and cut circles to fit your air fryer basket.

  • Assemble – Spoon filling into each crust circle, fold into half-moon shapes, and crimp edges with a fork.

  • Brush & Prep – Brush tops with egg wash and melted butter.

  • Air Fry – Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Cook pies in a single layer for 10–15 minutes, until golden and crispy.

  • Serve – Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • Mix sweet and tart apples for best flavor.

  • Avoid overfilling to prevent leakage.

  • Air fryers vary—check doneness a few minutes early.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer.
